NICE - this Spanish Jam Vid needs more views, nice close ups of the frets.

I actually recall thinking "this is really cool jam" at the 5-6-81 show.

You ARE getting old...I make up for my age by my grate immaturity. Maturity = 22 age = 61...so I'm @41.

Works for me. My fav Spanish jam is 6/23/74 hands down

Dire and I found out that it works even better when we adjust by our IQ's and our immaturity.

We're just about young enough to be legally aborted.

It kinda boggles my mind to realize that, out of the relatively tiny number of shows I saw (55 or so), I saw four of these between 1981 and 1982. And who knew that 5-06-81 was the FIRST since 1976? - Now I feel really special.

i knew something was amiss when that there list of yours didn't include the (disputed) 1/27/68 Spanish Jam, and maybe it's not worthy of five gold stars, but come on, 4 & 1/2 bones at least ... CLIFF WOULD AGREE!

There you go...I knew something was wrong too but hadn't put my finger on it...was mentioning it in the other thread (that I couldn't believe more weren't listed from earler on!).

Oh well, at least the poster has something to work on!

Now, about "loose" vs "loses"...

Hey Now,

This is hardly scientific, but the last one I have in my itunes is from 5-21-1995 at the Sam Silver Bowl in Vegas, 2:45

I got a whole bunch of favorites but I don't have time to post links:

1-27-1968 Eagles Auditorium 12+ minutes

7-16-1976 San Francisco Orpheum 9+ minutes

Short but powerful (big Phil bombs)

9-17-1982 Cumberland County Civic Center
7-28-1982 Red Rocks

My favorite 2 are on official releases

Dark Star -> Spanish Jam -> US Blues 19:00
Grateful Dead 1974/06/23 - So Many Roads
Vault Release

Spanish Jam 15:13 Grateful Dead 1974/06/26 - Providence Civic Center Dick's Picks #12
